You voted, we listened. Following last year’s community poll, we are bringing UKGovCamp 2027 to Manchester!

Here is what we are currently working on and how you can get involved.

To make the next event happen, we are recruiting volunteers and searching for a venue.

Organising Team Recruitment

We are looking for people to join us across two teams:

Please send an email to organisers@ukgovcamp.com if you are interested in participating.

Venue Recommendations

We are actively hunting for a venue in Manchester that can accommodate 200 to 250 people, with multiple breakout spaces for concurrent pitch sessions.

We would love suggestions for Government buildings, civic spaces, or University campuses close to public transport links. If you know of a space that fits the bill or have local contacts we should reach out to, please send your recommendations our way! Our email is organisers@ukgovcamp.com.

Digital Infrastructure Review

We are slowly reviewing our entire digital setup, including the UKGovCamp website, hosting, and wider tool ecosystem. The goal is to build a modern, accessible, and reliable digital home that better serves the community long-term.

We are almost ready to officially register with Companies House as a CLG (Community Interest Company Limited by Guarantee). The Articles of Association are reviewed and approved by the trustees. This step gives us a solid legal structure to manage funding, grant distribution, and venue bookings as a dedicated non-profit.

Membership Scheme Coming Soon

We will be announcing details of our new membership scheme very soon. Stay tuned for more updates on how to get involved!
