Planning for UKGovCamp 2027 in Manchester is picking up pace! Here is what happened across August.
Team Growth and Open Roles
We are delighted to welcome several Manchester-based organisers whose local knowledge is already guiding our venue search, and we are still recruiting volunteers for both local on-site coordination and remote operations. Venue Recommendations Needed in Manchester (or close by)
The venue is the most critical piece of the puzzle right now. We are actively searching across Manchester and would love your recommendations for spaces that offer:
- Capacity for 200 to 250 attendees
- Multiple breakout areas for simultaneous pitch sessions
- Strong public transport links via rail and tram
If you have a civic, university, or public sector venue in mind, let us know!
Digital Upgrades and Code of Conduct
Following a productive strategy meeting, we are progressing with our digital infrastructure refresh to build a more accessible, resilient platform.
Alongside technical updates, we are reviewing our Code of Conduct to ensure our community standards provide a safe, inclusive environment across all online channels and upcoming events.
